CCHF Letter to US Senate Opposing National Patient ID

CCHF, along with 25 other individuals and organizations representing American citizens nationwide, sent a letter to Congressional leadership and Members of the Appropriations Committee February 10, 2022, to express strong opposition to ending the longstanding prohibition on funding and development for the controversial, and very troubling, federal Unique Patient Identifier (UPI). See the letter here.

TAKE ACTION: Contact your representatives in your state – ASK CONGRESS: Request that the U.S. Senate and U.S. House (in the pending appropriations bill) maintain the prohibition on funding and development of the Unique Patient ID (UPI). Ask them to sign on as a sponsor to the repeal of the UPI, as introduced in H.R. 5812 by Congressman Chip Roy (and 8 co-authors) and S. 3124 by U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Marsha Blackburn. It is best to telephone your members.
